现将我校2026年度广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金申请安排通知如下。

一、申请对象

1. 我校注册在读全日制本科来华留学生，以及我校新招收的本科及硕士学历项目的来华留学新生。

2. 申请人须拥有外国国籍，持有有效外国护照并符合来华留学的相关要求，对华友好、身心健康。

二、申请条件

（一）在读学历来华留学生

1. 40周岁以下，在校期间遵守中国法律法规和学校的校纪校规。

2. 对华友好，勤奋好学，成绩、出勤记录良好，品行端正。

3. 未获其他类别中国政府或我校奖学金。

4. 截至申请日期前，未有欠缴学校学费和住宿费等。

5. 2025-2026学年度没有不及格科目，当年度必修课课程成绩为70分（含）以上。

6. 对学校或学院有突出贡献者，予以优先考虑。

（二）新招收学历来华留学生

1. 申请来粤接受本科阶段学历教育，年龄在30周岁以下；申请来粤接受硕士研究生阶段学历教育，年龄在35周岁以下。

2. 申请人来我校学习目的明确，并有清晰的学习计划。

3. 对华友好，品行端正、勤奋好学，综合表现突出。

4. 未获其他类别中国政府或我校奖学金。

三、奖学金种类和标准

本科生：人民币10,000元/人；

硕士研究生：人民币20,000元/人。

四、申请材料及程序

（一）申请材料

1、在读学历来华留学生

① 广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金年度申请表（一）；

② 学校教务处打印盖章版2025-2026学年成绩单；

③ 护照复印件（有效期内的普通护照）；

④ 个人陈述，约300-500字（中英文皆可）, 内容应包括个人学习、工作经历（如有）、学术研究成果、以前学习阶段的研究计划等;

⑤ 如有其它支撑材料可提供，含HSK证书、2025-2026学年度获奖证书、已发表论文等。

2、新招收来华留学生

① 广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金年度申请表（二）；

② 护照复印件（有效期内的普通护照）；

③ 申请来粤接受本科阶段学历教育，申请人需提供所毕业高级中学的校长和1名教师的推荐信，高级中学以上学历申请者应提供原毕业学校2名教授或副教授的推荐信。申请来粤接受硕士研究生阶段学历教育，申请人需提供学士阶段教育期间2名教授或副教授的推荐信；

④ 前一阶段学习的毕业证书及学业成绩单；

⑤ 个人陈述，约300-500字（中英文皆可）, 内容应包括个人学习、工作经历（如有）、学术研究成果、以前学习阶段的研究计划等;

⑥ 来粤学习和研究计划，1000字左右（中英文皆可）

注：所有申请者含新生需按时完成学籍注册及缴费手续，申请材料被证实有效后，方可继续接下来的奖学金申请。所有申请材料一律不予退还。

2. 2026年9月7日（星期一）下午17点之前，将电子版申请表（需导入电子版照片和电子签名）和全部扫描材料邮件打包发送至faowyu@wyu.edu.cn。逾期提交或提交资料不全者视为放弃申请。申请材料要求真实无误，干净整洁。

3.学校组织初评推荐，候选人名单将在官方网站公示。

4. 候选人名单报广东省教育厅最终审核。

5. 公布获得奖学金来华留学生名单。

2026 “ Governmental Scholarship Program for international students in Guangdong ” Application Notice

Notice is hereby given regarding the 2026 “Governmental Scholarship Program for international students in Guangdong ” at our university.

I. Applicant Eligibility

1. The applicants should be currently enrolled full-time international students of our university, and newly admitted international students in our university’s undergraduate and master’s degree programs.

2. The applicants must be foreign nationals in good health, hold valid foreign passport, and be friendly to China.

II.Eligibility

1. Currently enrolled full-time international students

(1) The applicant must be under the age of 40, and comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and university regulations.

(2) The applicant must be friendly to China, diligent in studies with satisfactory academic performance, good attendance record, and demonstrated good conduct.

(3) The applicant should not have acquired any Chinese government scholarship, or any other scholarship from the university.

(4) The applicant must have no outstanding tuition or accommodation fees as of the application deadline.

(5) The applicant should not have failed courses in the 2025–2026 academic year and scored at least 70 in every mandatory course during that year.

(6) Applicants who have made outstanding contributions to the university or their college will be given priority.

2. Newly admitted international students

(1) Applicants for undergraduate degree programs in Guangdong must be under 30 years of age; applicants for master’s degree programs in Guangdong must be under 35 years of age.

(2) Applicants must have a clear purpose for studying at our university and a well-defined study plan.

(3) Applicants must be friendly toward China, demonstrate good conduct, be diligent in their studies, and show outstanding overall performance.

(4) Applicants must not be recipients of any other type of Chinese Government Scholarship or scholarship offered by our university.

1. Required application documents

(1) Currently enrolled international students

① Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Application Form 1 (It could be downloaded in the attachment files).

② A transcript for the 2025–2026 academic year, printed and stamped by the university’s Academic Affairs Office.

③ A copy of the information page on the passport (should be within the validity period).

④ 300 -500 words of personal statement in Chinese or English. It should contain personal study, work experience (if there was any), academic research achievement, previous academic research plan, etc.

⑤ Additional supporting documents may be submitted, including HSK certificates, awards received during the 2025–2026 academic year, published papers, etc.

(2) Newly admitted international students

① Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Application Form 2 (It could be downloaded in the attachment files).

② A copy of the information page on the passport (should be within the validity period).

③ Applicants for undergraduate degree programs in Guangdong are required to provide recommendation letters from the principal and one teacher of the senior high school from which they graduated. Applicants with an educational background above the senior high school level should provide recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors of their previous institution. Applicants for master’s degree programs in Guangdong are required to provide recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors from the institution where they completed their bachelor’s degree.

④ Graduation certificate and academic transcript from the most recent previous stage of study.

⑤ 300 -500 words of personal statement in Chinese or English. It should contain personal study, work experience (if there was any), academic research achievement, previous academic research plan, etc.

⑥ Around 1000 words of study or research plan in Guangdong, in Chinese or English.

Note：All applicants, including new students, must complete registration and fee payment on schedule. Scholarship applications will proceed only after submitted materials have been verified as valid and complete. No application documents will be returned.

2. Application procedures

(3) Before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 7 September 2026, email the completed electronic application form (with embedded photo and electronic signature) together with all scanned supporting documents in a single ZIP file to faowyu@wyu.edu.cn. Late or incomplete submissions will be deemed a withdrawal of the application. All documents must be truthful, accurate, clean, and clearly legible.

(4) The university will convene a preliminary review and nomination committee; the list of recommended candidates will be published on the official website.

(5) The list of recommended candidates will be submitted to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education for final approval.

(6)The list of international students awarded the scholarship will be announced.
